A NEW EXPERIENCE

PROGRAMS

A sneak peak into EDE’s 2021-2022 Company dances!

CORE

Our Core Class Program is modeled around the idea of students being given the opportunity to flourish in the classroom while having fun. These classes will allow students to be pushed as dancers, in a more relaxed environment then the competitive realm. Both our core and company dancers will learn from the same wonderful teaching staff; so core classes are a great steppingstone into our competitive program if that is something that they so choose to pursue.

Core Classes will be offered in a multitude of styles such as PreDance, Tumbling, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and more! Dancers will be placed in levels based on age and ability and are able to sign up for as few or as many classes as best suits their wants and needs.

COMPANY

Our Competitive Company Program is focused around exactly what you would except - Competitive Dance! Our company dancers will train with our incredible staff at an elite level, being pushed to new heights each and every class and rehearsal. We care about nurturing our dancers technical and artistic growth while putting emphasis on teamwork, dedication, and positivity. While we strive to be a highly competitive studio, we do want to make it clear that we also strive be a studio focused on inclusivity. Each and EVERY dancer at EDE will be a crucial part of our competitive team and it is important to us that each dancer truly knows that and realizes the weight of their role in each of their competitive routines at our studio.

Program Design

Our mission at EDE is to unite our dancers and show support for one another from youngest to oldest. In working towards this goal, we have decided that we will be creating ONE competitive company. Therefore, any dancer accepted into our competitive program will be part of the same team!

For auditions, dancers will be asked to let us know how many routines and in which styles they would like to compete this season. With this information, and based on the dancer’s audition, our staff will work together to create routines (small groups, large groups, and lines) that will push dancers technical abilities while continuing to play to the dancers strengths. We feel this program layout will allow for dancers to put their time and energy where their passions lie, give dancers an opportunity to work with an array of peers and staff, and keep our studio competitive and ever evolving in the best ways possible!

This program will require dancers to participate in a competitive training curriculum while still allowing them the flexibility to make choices that best suit their families.
